Workout week hit a hug snag...
Athletic Conditioning on Tuesday night was not a good idea... I was so sore, I literally couldn't workout for two days (I tried the next day, all I could do was walk for 30 minutes on the treadmill, and I think that made it worse!). Plus, my yoga workout today was cut out due to a work meeting I had to attend. So, epic failure.
However, on Friday, I began to get really frustrated with slow progress, and I couldn't take it anymore. I went and bought some fancy running shoes at Runner's Den, and I'm hoping that I can start running again this week. I will probably start slow, 2.5 miles a day, then slowly up my distance (and doing the eliptical for whatever time is left to get 45 minutes.
In other news, I had a fantastic evening with Tacey and Catherine, where we had a beer and saw a late night chick flick. So fun!! We decided we should do it monthly, and it was so great, I'm sure we'll stick to it! I also attended book club without having finished the book, and I felt so bad, I am determined to finish the next one no matter what. So, I really will have to make good on the resolution to read more!
Ok, off to my meeting. Check in tomorrow after my first jog in my new shoes! :)
