It's been day two of coming back to work. Yesterday was a great day... working in the office, a short meeting; came home with plenty of time for gym and dinner! Today however, was a completely different story...
I went to one of my CMs' classrooms today, and taught an investment lesson. For like, the entire class. all four of them. I made the silly decision to wear heels, and my feet were LITERALLY killing me. by the time i got home, all I could do was lay on the couch and watch TV... who knew that 7 months later, all of my teacher stamina would be COMPLETELY GONE!?!? Sadly, I was not able to crawl off the couch and into the gym, and I'm very upset about this. But, I'm ready to hit it hard tomorrow!
Speaking of getting back to the gym, I'm still SUPER motivated! Today I confirmed that I've lost 4 pounds since my heaviest (right after christmas), and I've recently been on a big watch-tv-about-people-who-are-losing-weight kick. Biggest loser? I'm hooked. MTV's I used to be fat? I'm into it. it's really cool to see them lose SO MUCH WEIGHT. I realize they have trainers and cameras and nutritionists. But still. NO one can MAKE them lose weight, they had to choose to. I am determined to have that kind of mindset.
A note on my resolutions. I've still been watching a lot of TV, but I'm reading during the commercials!!! And my GRE books just arrived, so I'll kick that into gear very soon here. Gym life is still going well, and I'm really starting to get excited about this year! :)
Shout out to SCOTT, who has been coming with me to the gym every day. Not only is he super stoked to get fit, but he's making it so much easier for me to be motivated to go. So happy!
