So, today I picked up the YMCA workout schedule, and decided it's time to make a plan. It didn't hurt that I saw several posts from a "friend" (we've really only met once) on facebook who is literally working her butt off to get fit for her wedding... Anyways. Scott and I are having our two year- anniversary in less than two months, and I'd like to look as thin as possible! I know it's not a wedding, but this is a big thing to me, and I really want to dedicate my time towards working at trimming down.
So, I need to make a work-out schedule for the week-one that mixes things up so I don't get bored, but also lets me get in a balanced workout. I have decided that this is what I want my schedule to look like:
Sunday: Cardio at gym, hot yoga with my groupon (and Jillian, woot woot!)
Monday: Cardio
Tuesday: Athletic conditioning at the Y (no other cardio)
Wednesday: Cardio (or occasionally, kickboxing, but probably not...)
Thursday: Cardio AND body pump
Friday: Day off
Saturday: day off or, if needed, body pump.
I also need to schedule an extra hot yoga or pilates, since I only have three months to use up 20 of my groupon sessions. But I will worry about that as the date gets closer :)
I really want to try out this week, and see how the new schedule feels. It means I have a pretty set evening schedule, so if I ever have to adjust, I'll have to get up EARLY (poop), but I just need to get in the mindset that this HAS to happen. I'm not going to get skinny by hoping.
Sidenote: I weighed myself today, and I have officially hit the 8 pounds lost mark. two more and I get new running shoes :) I have, thus far, forgone my rewards for the 3 and 6 pound marks, but I doubt that will last :)
Ok, off to bed, and getting ready for my double workout tomorrow! :)
